David McRobbie, a specialist on UK start-ups in the US, returned to the UK to inform International Trade Club delegates of a no cost soft landing solution in South Carolina where UK companies can benefit from office, manufacturing and/or warehouse spaces of up to 90,000 sq ft for a period of 18 months to help them enter the US market. Anthony Love from the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce updated companies on the Russian economic situation as well as advice on specific issues faced by British companies entering and trading in the Russian market. Doing business in one of the worlds fastest growing economies can be daunting. Anthony focused on the practicalities of doing business with tips and hints from his extensive travels around Russia and shared the business opportunities available for local companies. Learn basic Japanese
 
Learning a language can be daunting, but this fun and interactive session enabled delegates to learn essential business phrases to use immediately with clients. Our speakers, from the University of Central Lancashire shared their passion for the Japanese language, and provided a great role play with a few tips along the way to get started!!!
