Event Date: 13 May 2010

Calculating importing and exporting costs is a tricky exercise, where mistakes can lead to disastrous financial consequences. It is important to arrange in advance which currency payment will be made in, and who will bear the costs of any conversion charges. This seminar provided delegates with a clear guideline on how to build up an export price and Calculating the real cost of importing.

Cargo Insurance covers physical damage to, or loss of your goods whilst in transit by land, sea and air and offers considerable opportunities and cost advantages if managed correctly.  Robin Stephens, Partner of Forbes Solicitors, shared his experiences of dealing with cargo insurance and helped to focus companies to look more closely at this complex area of international trading.
