New Year, New export and import opportunities

Businesses across Pennine Lancashire are being encouraged to think global at a series of International Trade Club events this year to maximise orders, profits and growth!

The events, organised by the International Trade Club, will help businesses reduce the risks, and enable delegates to deal more confidently with international orders and issues.

Ed Murphy, International Trade and Training Director of the Chamber of Commerce East Lancs, said: “East Lancs International Trade Club events offer all exporters, new or very experienced, the chance to expand or update their knowledge, be aware of new international opportunities and changes coming that could affect their companies, benefit from a wide range of informative presentations, talk to specialist presenters and network with fellow peers at informal, enjoyable meetings.  It has never been more important for companies to be internationally competitive, proactive and confident if they are to win."

The International Trade Club events will be held at the Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel and include:

  • 2nd February: Cyber Crime, Learn basic Russian and Discover Latin American Markets
  • 26th April: Product Recall - What to expect
  • 28th June: Kidnap & Ransom - The Negotiations Process
  • 29th September: Managing Risk/ International Finance
  • 7th December: 2012 International Trade Awards
