Influence new Ministers through the CEO
Article Date: 10 May 2010
Opportunity to influence new Ministers through the CEO David Frost of the British Chambers of Commerce.
On Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th May 2010 John Lucas Policy Advisor at British Chambers of Commerce will be in East Lancs to visit manufacturing companies for approximately one hour each.
We have selected just six to eight companies to illustrate the advanced products and technology at some excellent local manufacturers. This is your opportunity to influence the policies and issues being pressed at national level by British Chambers of Commerce to new Government Ministers.
What are the obstacles and issues you would like them to take up at national level? Machinery grants to increase production and lower costs, barriers to exporting to specific countries, grants to part fund raising international trade skills especially export sales skills, Letter of Credit skills, international Bank to Bank Lines of Credit or other methods of providing credit for overseas buyers (and relieve you) at a reasonable rate etc etc. Choose a few that are of major importance to your company to stress at the meeting.
Please advise if you wish to be involved. Please contact Marie White on Tel 01254 356448, or email m.white@chamberelancs.co.uk
This is your chance to influence national policy.
