The East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce delivers a highly successful export and import support programme to companies across East Lancashire.
INTERNATIONAL TRADE ADVISOR
Circa £26,000
Based at our head office in Accrington, the successful applicant will be required to deliver a proactive programme of international trade advice, support and services to develop the competitiveness of businesses.
Ideally applicants will have:
- knowledge of exporting and export sales activities
- experience of developing international markets including working with agents and/or distributors
- some knowledge of importing would be useful
- an ability to express their ideas clearly, both verbally and in written communications
- enthusiasm, self motivation and team player characteristics
The applicant will act as a mentor to support clients in developing their immediate and long term international trade activities.
